In my formative years, I was blessed to have loving and caring parents. My mother and father instilled values of hard work, persistence, and doing things the right way from start to finish. We were taught what the "high road" means, and we were expected to follow it.
Experience
It has been my experience that, in life, you get out of it what you put into it. Those who want to do something find a way; and those who don’t, find an excuse.
The Important Stuff
My wife, Ellen, and I have raised our three children and exposed them to those same values we were taught. Diligence, perseverance, and effort have become a hallmark of our daily work.

I am a native Charlottean, and attended Elizabeth Traditional School. After brief stops in Knoxville, Atlanta, and New Bern, NC, we moved back to Charlotte for good. My brother, Marc, and I attended Appalachian State University, studied Advertising & Public Relations, and joined The Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
After college, I went into the automotive industry and quickly became the Finance Director, then General Manager of Coastal Carolina Honda. A couple of years later, I decided to follow my dad into real estate...
...So, here I am. The Real Estate Industry provides a unique combination of sales & marketing that let me push my creativity, skills, and training to new heights.

Steve attended UCLA, where he met his wife, Rhonda. They chose to relocate their family to Charlotte when Rhonda had an opportunity with one of Charlotte's premiere banks.
They have two children, Paul and Elizabeth. Steve is a board member at the Siskey YMCA, and coaches youth sports teams. Paul excels in football and baseball, while Elizabeth prefers American Girl dolls, dancing, and crafts.
