"When I finally decided it was time to stop renting and buy my own place, a co-worker of mine recommended a Realtor at Coldwell Banker. I called and started working with him right away, however within a few weeks he had a family emergency. When I heard of the family emergency I was devastated for him and I knew it was more important for him to take care of his family than me. I was also pleasantly surprised that he took the initiative to introduce me to Jay White, a trusted friend and co-worker through Coldwell Banker.
So I met Jay White a few weeks into my home search. Jay welcomed me with a smile and came in with my portfolio in hand ready to show me Charlotte. We met a couple of weekends in a row with multiple showings a day, sharing information about the neighborhoods and ideas on the homes themselves. He was always sure to get my opinion of what I liked and disliked to find the best one for me.
About a month into it I emailed Jay in the afternoon asking if we could go see a townhome the next day. He welcomed the visit and set up the appointment. I walked through the townhome and knew it was what I wanted, just to reassure myself we saw another townhome one building over the same day. They were so different I was amazed, I knew I wanted the first one! Jay told me to sleep on it and if I still want the townhome to call him the next day and jump on it. Needless to say I called him the next day and told him to put an offer in.
We worked through my starting offer and together negotiated the deal for my winning the townhome. It was a long close, but Jay was with me every week to provide the details and make sure everything was moving along nicely. Jay supplied me with the name of the Home Inspector I hired, the Closing Attorney and the Surveyor I used for my parcel. Everyone on his team was very friendly and they all went smoothly through the job.
Jay was with me at closing, which I was very greatful since there was a little negotiating that wasn’t expected on the Sellers end!
But after a month of looking, making a deal, two months wait till closing, and a month waiting to moving in… I am now fully moved into my spacious Townhome!

I have said this before and I will say it again, when I graduated from the University of Alabama and started in the retail business, I was quite impressed with Mr. Johnny White. I saw many business managers and business owners that I considered unethical. They were into drugs and other practices and it was discouraging. I was quite stunned at what I saw and what I heard from people.
